linguistic certification
For the assessment of the language skills of its students, JCBS has chosen to adopt the certification of Trinity College London , an internationally recognized certification body since 1877.
Trinity exams are regulated by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) and are assessed to the same standards around the world.
The level of learning of children is defined through exams which, for methodological and educational consistency, are the natural outcome. All the qualifications offered by Trinity, in fact, are focused on communication skills , acquired through an experiential approach of the language.
Trinity exams do not only evaluate the theoretical (abstract) knowledge of candidates, but above all:
-
They stimulate to progress in learning;
-
They value what the candidate demonstrates to be able to do, encouraging him to communicate his interests whether it is GESE and ISE certifications, or music or performance arts in TRINITY STAR;
-
During the 3 and 5 exams, pupils are asked to be able to interact in a conversation, this implies confidence and command of everyday language.
